Stifled in Ministry?

I used to think that when most people venture into a new ministry they find it to be intimidating and overwhelming. This fear and anxiety hinders many from getting involved in ministry. And truthfully, I used to get frustrated with this mindset.

But as I have experienced more and more in ministry, I find that the long-term leader who is unfaithful to God’s will can do much more damage. Not only does the leader hinder his people by stifling their desires for reaching others but he is also calling God’s judgment on himself as a leader of God’s flock.

Ministry leaders, lets all agree to seek God for the vision He has for our ministry. Lets confirm that vision through His Word and cast that vision to the people we are leading.

Here is a funny video that illustrates the point that I am trying to make. [from RightNow.Org]
